Creating a tan with Bronzers

Nadine Monley - Monday, November 12, 2012

Bronzers are great to give you skin that extra bit of colour, just a little bit of a tanned glow! The thing is with bronzers they are better on the face, but don't apply too much at it tends to look un natural.

 Bronzers

Using makeup to give your skin that sun-kissed look is like “instant  tan gratification.” My advice for applying it is to “use a short, fluffy brush to apply tanned bronzer where the sun naturally hits your face - your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin - and dust your neck and chest if you're wearing a bare top.” She also recommends gels or cream for a “dewy look.”

When creating a tan with bronzers they are only really good for you face and chest, not so much the body as this tends to come off on your clothes.

I think we all want a golden tan so when choosing bronzer don't go for one that looks too orange, more green based then red as I think this creates more of a  golden tan.

Tanned up with beauty department

Nadine Monley - Sunday, November 04, 2012

Part of the beauty shoot was making the model look all tanned up using summer tan, I wanted to create beautiful golden tanned skin like she had just spent the day at the beach.

I started with applying summer tan all over the body and applied 2 or 3 coats to give it that extra summer natural tan and finished off using a beautiful product called goe oil which gave the skin a beautiful glow.

Summer beauty was the inspiration for the beauty shoot and I want the models body to be all about skin and beauty.

Using natural tan

Nadine Monley - Wednesday, October 31, 2012

Lying out in the sun for a tan is not the best way to do it anymore or safest way. Finding the right tanning product is easy now as its a safe and with so many options for tanning products out there you can have a beautiful sunless tan .
I am asked all the time when is the best time of the day to apply fake tan and really I think that its a personal thing. For me I think the best time of the day to apply fake tan is first thing in the morning just after I have a shower when my skin is warm, and absorbs my fake tan faster.
When using beauty departments "summer tan" it takes a little longer to absorb as its a natural tan filled with organic ingredients and being natural it doesn't contain chemicals which tend to absorb faster into the skin.
When you first use a tanning product that you haven't used before its always good to use a little bit first and get use to the texture.
