There’s nothing better than finding a skincare brand that you love and trust. With so many different products out there all claiming to do the same thing, if not better – it’s hard work finding the diamond in the rough. So here at Beauty Department, we thought we’d help you out.

Presenting to you, Dermalogica. The one brand we actually love and use ourselves. Rather than trying to get a quick fix and pamper ourselves with random chemicals claiming to de-wrinkle our face within 24hrs, we opt for the long term alternative.

And it just so happens that Dermalogica does it best.

Born out of a dream to create a skincare line without any irritants or artificial agents, founder Jane Wurwand successfully made a name for herself selling three core products; cleansers, toners and moisturisers. And nowadays boasting a whole collection ranging from sunscreen, make up remover, exfoliates and specialised eye treatments. Ummmm can you say #girlboss much?

As always, we love to preach the holistic approach to health and beauty. So it’s a no brainer we love Dermalogica. A. because they only use selected ingredients from pure eco-safe sources, B. they refuse to test on animals AND C. their packaging is made up of fully recyclable material.
